VRS KIID
Automated Key Investor Information Document Reporting
Utilising the power of VRS to deliver a fully outsourced KIID solution.
Clients can offload the effort involved in the collation and output of the European Commission required KIID report, from data sourcing through to report delivery, with use of the market-leading Vermilion Reporting Suite.
The Workflow Service within VRS integrates all elements and requirements within KIID reporting and schedules these for their timely completion. The Data Gateway will capture performance data from the Vermilion Data Mart and/ or existing external systems, perform SRRI calculations where necessary, and carry out Business Validation Rules checks to ensure that data is accurate. Clients can also choose to be prompted for customisable levels of data sign-off if required.
The Rendering Module enables business-users to create and manage report templates with customisable variables included so that a single template can be automatically reused for many funds and many clients. For example, those funds with less than a year’s performance history are not required to show a performance chart, so this will not be rendered. Those funds with between 5 and 10 years of performance history are required to show the previous ten years in their charts, with blank columns where applicable. The Workflow is aware of these variables and will automatically render the appropriate report components.
VRS houses translated static data and will automatically produce the appropriate language versions once the user defines this via a tick box. Writers and translators are prompted via both email and the process control dashboard to enter commentary, and management can instruct VRS to automatically include sign-off tasks to satisfy corporate compliance standards.
VRS outputs marketing-quality, print ready, reports that can be delivered straight to the client via Workflow automated email and with use of our optional Web Portal. VRS can also deliver to external locations for print fulfilment and distribution.
