Product Documentation
Product documentation, as opposed to project documentation, is provided as standard as follows:
• VRS User Guide
• VRS Administrators Guide
• VRS Custom Class Developers Guide
• VRS Installation Guide
The on-line and hard copy User Guide includes screen shots for most screens and covers every aspect of the system.
Extensive documentation specific to the client’s implementation would also be created during the project by the on-site team.
Product Training & Certification Vermilion has product training courses available and included as part of a standard implementation project (operational training for the deliverable of the implementation projects are also provided separately during implementations).
All courses are run as interactive training sessions but may also be presented as rapid executive or hands-off familiarisation sessions if desired.
Courses are run onsite at client offices during implementations and within a designated installed VRS environment (usually the development environment).
Additional courses may be organised on-demand outside of implementation projects, by arrangement through each clients account manager.
Operational training (operation procedures) is expected in addition to these courses, focusing on how to users would maintain the implemented environment on a day to day (month to month/quarter to quarter) basis.
All VRS implementations can include a VRS training database environment that may be used as a sandbox to play, modify and restore when desired. Advanced training or familiarisation may be provided on this environment from knowledgeable power-users or technicians. |
